I bought this top before my trip to California for a ridiculously small amount of money at TJ Maxx on sale. It's just an ordinary top with a cute weave. Linen is not currently in my wardrobe because it's easily wrinkled, hard to clean, etc. 

And then when the real heat came I wanted to wear something very natural, free, simple and light :) And I made ​​the right decision! The comfort that I experienced in this top was just amazing. 

Now when all the summer sales begin, it's even easier to find some cute linen goodies! So keep your eye out for those sales - and good shopping! ;)

Glossybox, June 2014... or 4th July Is In A Corner

My next Glossy Box didn't make me wait too long ... I have not had time to check the previous boxes that arrived while I was in Russia, but here came the next one in Stars-and-Stripes and colors to celebrate the 4th July! Now I will be able to distinguish my countless boxes, of which I have accumulated an incredible amount during my absence! 

And I promise, I will certainly do a great summary post about those products from the previous boxes that I now routinely use in my beauty routine.

Мой июньский Glossybox не заставил себя долго ждать. Я даже толком не успела разобрать те коробочки, которые мне доставили пока я была в России, а тут уже пришла следующая. В звездно-полосатых цветах 4-го июля! Теперь я хоть как-то смогу отличить все эти коробочки друг от друга! ;) 

И я обещаю, я обязательно сделаю сводный пост обо всех тех продуктах из предыдущих коробочек, которыми я активно пользуюсь в моей повседневной бьюти-рутине.

Well, finally I'm back from my long trip to Russia. It was a long two and a half, almost three months. The original reasons for my trip (visiting all relatives, meeting all friends, executing important documents, etc.) kept me very busy and took much longer than I expected. In addition to this, the motherboard on my MAC burned in the second week of my stay in the cold homeland (yeah, Russia in April welcomed me with a blizzard that I waded through with my two big suitcases - while wearing my Converse).

Tight schedules, travel, and lack of computer time for "addicted-the-Internet-me" created great stress for me at first. Suddenly, I felt like there was no air around me to breathe without those nonstop checks of Facebook, Lookbook, Instagram, and other social networks - including my blog statistics... And deprived of all this, I realized just how dependent I had become on all the numbers of likes and followers.

Now I can say that the last two months that I have lived, if I may say so, "real life" filled me with so many more impressions and emotions. Talking to friends, looking into the eyes of their parents, seeing the beauty of St. Petersburg and its environs (yes, I have visited this amazing city!), just walking along the waterfront and parks, not caring at all about how long it had been since I posted something online, it was just incredible! In fact, based on this (unplanned!) experience, I can now highly recommend that everyone should make a point of having “information-fasting” days!  ;)

But don’t worry! I'm not going to give up doing my blog! :) Oh, no, it's not gonna happen! :) I love my creation, and I certainly will continue to do it. And you can still find me in all known social networks! :)
