I finally sorted ​​out all my photos from Los Angeles. They bring back so many memories of beautiful sunshine, fresh breezes and... joy!

LA has a very strong spirit ... I just fell in love with those Hollywood hills, palm trees and the ocean full of frolicking dolphins at sunset ... And, of course, Rodeo Drive - a paradise for any shopaholic!

We had too little time to enjoy this paradise - and definitely did not have enough time to even shop! But we came away with so many fabulous memories! And they are the kind of memories that will stay with us forever - for sure...

У этого города очень сильная энергетика... Я просто влюбилась в эти голливудские холмы, пальмы и океан с резвящимися в нем на закате дельфинами... И, конечно же, Родео Драйв - рай для любого шоппоголика! 

У нас было катастрофически мало времени, чтобы насладиться этим раем по полной программе. Но зато впечатлений было предостаточно! В конце концов впечатления это тоже своего рода приобретение, причем такое которое в отличие от вещи точно останется с тобой навсегда...

I bought this top before my trip to California for a ridiculously small amount of money at TJ Maxx on sale. It's just an ordinary top with a cute weave. Linen is not currently in my wardrobe because it's easily wrinkled, hard to clean, etc. 

And then when the real heat came I wanted to wear something very natural, free, simple and light :) And I made ​​the right decision! The comfort that I experienced in this top was just amazing. 

Now when all the summer sales begin, it's even easier to find some cute linen goodies! So keep your eye out for those sales - and good shopping! ;)

Well, finally I'm back from my long trip to Russia. It was a long two and a half, almost three months. The original reasons for my trip (visiting all relatives, meeting all friends, executing important documents, etc.) kept me very busy and took much longer than I expected. In addition to this, the motherboard on my MAC burned in the second week of my stay in the cold homeland (yeah, Russia in April welcomed me with a blizzard that I waded through with my two big suitcases - while wearing my Converse).

Tight schedules, travel, and lack of computer time for "addicted-the-Internet-me" created great stress for me at first. Suddenly, I felt like there was no air around me to breathe without those nonstop checks of Facebook, Lookbook, Instagram, and other social networks - including my blog statistics... And deprived of all this, I realized just how dependent I had become on all the numbers of likes and followers.

Now I can say that the last two months that I have lived, if I may say so, "real life" filled me with so many more impressions and emotions. Talking to friends, looking into the eyes of their parents, seeing the beauty of St. Petersburg and its environs (yes, I have visited this amazing city!), just walking along the waterfront and parks, not caring at all about how long it had been since I posted something online, it was just incredible! In fact, based on this (unplanned!) experience, I can now highly recommend that everyone should make a point of having “information-fasting” days!  ;)

But don’t worry! I'm not going to give up doing my blog! :) Oh, no, it's not gonna happen! :) I love my creation, and I certainly will continue to do it. And you can still find me in all known social networks! :)

Since today my flight to Russia was unexpectedly canceled due to a pilots’ strike at Lufthansa, I suddenly had some free time for shopping, studying and my blog.

So, today I wore a very comfortable sweater in fuchsia and paired it with the very essential skinny jeans. Because I have so many color accents in my look - sweater, bag with bright floral print and shoes - I decided not to use any additional accessories. It came out very simple, bright and very spring-like :)

Итак, сегодня на мне очень уютный свитер цвета фуксии и незаменимые скинни-джинсы. Поскольку в луке и так много цветовых акцентов - свитер, сумка с ярким принтом и туфли, я решила обойтись без аксессуаров. Получилось просто, ярко и очень по-весеннему :)

The last a few weeks we have been covered by snow on a regular basis. And the snow is so much that every time that our life is almost paralyzed - we can't drive even to get groceries - and not to mention the fact that I couldn't get my beloved husband to take "just a couple of pictures" outside. Besides that, I got a cold and spent almost 1.5 weeks in bed, and that became a very difficult challenge!

But the good part of being sick is that I had a lot of time! So I was putting in order all my folders, and I found several more pictures from last fall, which for some reason they had been forgotten in the depths of my "Mac" ... Compared to the what we now have outside our windows, this outfit from the fall looks almost summery :) But what’s even better is - we can look at it and remember the warm weather! :)

How our expectations play with us ...

This necklace appeared almost by accident. Well I should say, it appeared for a very good reason: I was looking for a new, soft, delicate necklace for a New Year’s party when I stumbled upon this charming necklace with light crisp white flowers. I ordered, received, unpacked... and oh... horror! Those lovely charming delicate flowers that looked so appealing to me on my computer screen had... monstrous proportions! Two of them barely fit on my hand! In fact, they seemed positively creepy as they looked up at me from their box..I felt as though I was looking into the eyes of a predatory Sundew waiting for its prey; I was nearly hypnotized by their huge blade-like petals... The decision was instant - immediately return them to the store!

But that was before Christmas, and I was swallowed by the busyness of the season...In the ensuing holiday time, I happily forgot about the little garden of Sundews lurking in that box.

However, a few days ago I started to tidy my winter wardrobe, preparing it for the spring, and again I saw them... mmm... those flowers (or necklace?). Strangely, it no longer seemed quite so cyclopean. Apparently, now that the pre-holiday fever has subsided (along with my expectations of being a "miraculous vision" in my "perfect" New Year's dress!) ... the flowers seem a bit smaller and have quite a decent shape after all ... no longer resembling predatory flowers just waiting for their next meal! :) So I decided to give them one more chance - and, you know, I think they justify my trust, don’t you?!! :)

Как наши ожидания играют с нами... 

Это ожерелье появилось у меня почти случайно. Точнее появилось оно по вполне определенным мотивам: я подыскивала себе новое нежно-трепетное колье на выход, и наткнулась на очаровательное легкое белоснежное ожерелье с цветами. Заказала. Получила. Развернула... и о, ужас! Те самые милые очаровательные нежные цветочки, которые так призывно смотрели на меня с экрана моего компьютера, оказались... чудовищных размеров! На моей ладони едва умещалось два из них. Эти жуткие цветы смотрели на меня из кробки как хищные росянки, поджидающие свою жертву, почти гипнотизируя меня своими огромными лопастями... Решение было мгновенным - вернуть их немедленно в магазин! 

Но дело было перед Рождеством и меня с головой поглотила предпраздничная суета... Я благополучно забыла о "росянках". А тут на днях начала приводить в порядок мой зимний гардероб, подготавливая его к весне, и вновь увидела их или его, ожерелье. 

Оно уже не казалось мне таким циклопическим. Видимо, ушла предпраздничная лихорадка, исчезли ожидания и "чудесные картины" новогоднего наряда, и цветы как будто бы ужались и обрели вполне приличную форму, уже не напоминая хищников :) И я решилась дать им шанс - и, знаете, похоже, они оправдали мое доверие! :)

There may be no other time of the year when we can get as much unexpected pleasure from being outdoors as in the winter time. Why?

Well, first of all, because the weather in winter is generally not very favorable to long walks outside, and we start to miss the fresh air - so if it’s nice enough to be outside, it’s like a real treat!

And then, all kinds of outdoor games become a little less dangerous: falling on the snow is now fun, especially when you have many layers of clothing! It's not like in the other seasons when bare knees painfully scrape on the grass...

Finally, in snow-white weather, even when just walking the dog, you can be dressed quite fashionably... without fear of muddying your favorite clothes :)

So my advice is - People, enjoy the winter - it's so short ;)))

Наверное ни к какое другое время года невозможно получить столько удовольствия от пребывания на свежем воздухе как зимой. Почему? 

Ну, во-первых, потому что сама погода в общем-то не очень располагает ко всяким прогулкам и ты по этому свежему воздуху успеваешь соскучится. 

Во-вторых, все активные игры с беготней и всем прочим становятся как-бы менее безопасными: упасть на снег теперь весело, особенно, когда на тебе слои одежды! Это тебе не голыми коленками по траве скрести... 

В-третьих, в такую белоснежную погоду даже для прогулок с собакой можно одеться вполне себе модно, не боясь заляпать грязью свою любимую одежду :)

Вобщем, люди, наслаждайтесь зимой - она такая короткая ;)))

Generally, winter is a time when I can experiment with colors - colors that at any other time of year can seem pretty dull... But during a snowy winter, with a background of dazzling white, beige colors and skin tones take on completely different shades. Even black is quite special and is rejuvenated - somehow becoming particularly bright and warming.

Of course, it’s quite unlikely that just one warm color can make you really feel warm! So knitted sweaters and caps become the first assistant in such cold weather. And, of course, knee-high boots! Despite the fact that they are gradually losing their relevance, I definitely leave them in my wardrobe for special - frosty - cases ;) Well, I'm ready for... a short trip in my car! :)))

Зима вообще такое время, когда можно экспериментировать с цветами в одежде, причем с такими цветами, которые в любое другое время года могут показаться довольно унылыми... Но снежной зимой, на фоне этой ослепительной белизны, бежевые, телесные оттенки обретают совершенно иное звучание. Ну а для черного наступает совсем особенная пора - он становится каким-то особенно ярким и согревающим. 

Конечно, согреться одним только цветом вряд ли удастся, поэтому теплые, вязанные свитера и шапки - это первые помощники в такие холода. И, конечно, высокие ботфорты! Несмотря на то, что они постепенно теряют свою актуальность, я безусловно оставляю их в своем гардеробе для особенных - морозных - случаев ;) Ну что ж, к путешествию в автомобиле я готова! :)))

What can be more simple than a white top and a black bottom? What can be more simple than a cotton sweater and silk slacks? In fact, it could be the most comfortable outfit that ever existed. It's cozy and simple, and those simple lines make me feel calm and confident.

Less color -> less emotion -> more thoughts... Well, at the end of the year, it's common to draw the line, summing up what we have, where we would like to go, and what we would like to do in the coming year... Yeah, I need a black pen, a white piece of paper... and a fresh head.

Что может быть проще, чем белый верх и черный низ? Что может быть проще, чем белый трикотажный свитер и черные просторные шелковые брюки? Это, наверное, одно из самых комфортных сочетаний в одежде, которое когда-либо существовало. Это уютно и просто и дает мне удивительное чувство уверенности и покоя.

Меньше цвета - меньше эмоций - больше мыслей... Что ж, это очень кстати, ведь в конце года принято подводить черту под тем, что сделано и мечтать о том, что сделать предстоит... Так что белый лист бумаги, черный карандаш и свежая голова - это то, что мне сейчас нужно.

Anyway... I'm wearing this mint top and nude open toe heels  - in spite of it being December! :)! It helps me stay in a sunny place... in a sunny mood! ;) This outfit also reminds me a little bit of the 60s and brings back lovely warm memories of last summer... Well, December is, after all, a great time to recall all the things that happened this year and to be thankful for all those that we have :)

Да, на мне это симпатичный ментоловый топ и туфли с открытым носом, и декабрь мне нипочем! :) Конечно, приходится не терять солнце из виду, или... зажечь свое внутри! :) Тем более этот образ очень к тому располагает - он напоминает о беззаботных 60х, а меня еще и возвращает в прошедшее лето... Так или иначе, а декабрь как раз самое время, чтобы вспомнить с благодарностью все то, что было в уходящем году и быть благодарным за то, что останется с нами в наступающем :)

После сильного, но очень недолгого похолодания как-то очень внезапно вместо зимы нагрянула к нам настоящая весна. Я даже пару раз заметила на обочине дорог одуванчики, которые, совершенно ошеломленные такими метаморфозами погоды, начали опять цвести :) Я решила поддержать природу в ее неутомимом желании обновляться, и в начале декабря обулась в туфли и всевозможные оттенки зеленого. Ну что, зимушка-зима, страшно тебе стало? -.-

November is over... It's hard to imagine, but it will be Winter tomorrow. Despite the wind and cold that will be brought by the new month, I continue to insist that bright summer colors (like this pink pleated skirt) can be appropriate even during the cold cloudy months ahead. But just as important as choosing bright color accents is remembering functionality - because it's almost 32F outside, so you have to make sure you stay warm first of all! :)

Ноябрь закончился... Вериться с трудом, но завтра уже уже наступит зима. Но несмотря на холод и ветер, я продолжаю настаивать, что яркие летние краски (например, как эта розовая плиссированная юбка) могут быть очень уместны и в холодные пасмурные месяцы. Главное, правильно расставить цветовые акценты и помнить о функциональности - ведь если за окном 0С, то вам должно быть в первую очередь тепло! :)
