Black, white, and orange colors are everywhere; terrible monsters "rise up" from under the ground in front of houses; in the shop windows toothy pumpkins smile at us, and even in the banks "creepy" bats and black spiders adorn the walls...

All this "horror" reminds us of the distant roots of this holiday, when it was believed that only once a year - on the eve of All Saints' Day - the dead return to earth, bringing terror and punishing their offenders.
